Richard has been working with kitchens and cabinetry for more than 35 years.

In that time, he’s owned and run Kitchen Link Limited, Workspace Limited, and Kitchens By Design in Auckland. After moving to Tauranga in 2023, he started Cabinet Doctor Tauranga to focus on what he enjoys most – helping people get their kitchens, bathrooms, laundries and motorhomes back into shape with practical, affordable repairs. He also offers custom motorhome fit-outs, combining his skills with his passion for travel and campers.

Richard brings plenty of experience, the right tools for the job, and a real pride in doing things properly so clients don’t have to worry about replacing what can be repaired.

When he’s not on the tools, you’ll find him out exploring in a camper, planning his next trip, or tramping New Zealand’s tracks – he’s already ticked off three of the Great Walks. He’s also a big All Blacks fan and loves keeping up with the rugby. Richard’s sporting interests also lie with motorsport, having completed four Targa Rallys as a co-driver.
